Types of Social Media

Hey, this blog will explain you about the different types of social media. Social media has seven types which are as follow:

1.    Written and visual publishing: In this, a message shares with people by writing a different type of blogs, e-books and other written types of publishing.

2.    Networking: In networking, various types of sites are used by people to communicate with each other such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and google+.

3.    Micro-blogging: In this, one can share his thought in a short way of a blog. One can share any image or video related to post. The examples of this type social media are the tumbler, twitter, blogger etcetera.

4.    Live sharing: In live sharing, people can share their view live. They can connect with the audience using this types of social media such as BlogTalkRadio, Livestream etcetera.

5.    Collaboration: Collaboration is the rising trend of a web. It is very useful in business to motivate users and gain their feedback. It also encourages users to share their views.

6.    Video sharing: in this, people can share their video. This type of social media includes Vimeo, YouTube, and many other video sharing sources. It is a good way to share actual feelings of someone by making a video and then uploading or sharing it on social media.

7.    Image sharing: It is also like video sharing but in this, people share their images with others for showing their feelings and emotions. Instagram, Picasa, Flicker are some examples of image sharing.

Role of Social Media in Today’s World

Hello everyone, today my blog will explain you the role of social media in the present world. How has it created his impact on today’s world? What has his role in an individual life?

In this era, social media has become a necessary part of life just like food and clothing. It is playing a significant role in our life to make it better. Social media helps us to shape our life according to new trends.

The role of social media has more important in the business field. It is helpful in trading and marketing. From a business perspective, it is the best way to know about your customers.

Marketers can find about the consumers demand. They can know that what is trending now. Social media helps to marketers for personalizing their brand. It also plays a key role in communicating with other persons. Marketers can get feedback about their work or product which will beneficial in future for them.

The role of social media has become more vital in an individual life. People can connect with one another by using it. They can share their feelings and thoughts with their friends.

Social media has a great role in developing well community life. It helps to live a healthy life. It aware people to know about wellness plan and make their community clean. The recent Charles William Post -riot clean and jerk -up Chirrup movement was a suitable example which shows that how people changed the community life. (The guardian, 2011)

An introduction of Social Media

Hello everyone, today I am going to explain you about how social media become an integral part of information technology. Do you know that Social media has changed our communication methods to share information in all fields? If you do not know and you want to know about it then follow my post.

Social media is a pool of online communication channels. Social media is used to interact with people. In a business field, it is the best way to share information among people. In today’s world, social media is the first preference of people while sharing information and communicating.

Social media includes different types of websites and applications. Forums, microblogging, social networking, social bookmarking, social curation and wikis. Here are some examples of it:

• facebook
• Twitter
• LinkedIn
• P interest (Rouse, 2015)

Social media has become a main communication and marketing method in business. In this era, marketers rely on this. They can promote their company and new product by using it. Thus, it became a key component in business field but it does not mean that it is only helpful for business. In daily life, it is helpful to provide information which individual wants.

The growth and evolution of social media had started from the late 70s. The golden era of social media started from 2001. (Morrison, 2015)
